Bounce Terms of Service

Effective July 3, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Flow Technical Solutions ("we", "us") and govern your use of the Bounce iPhone app and its related services. By creating an account or using Bounce, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Bounce is

Bounce is a Screen Time focus app: it helps you block or limit distracting apps, run focus sessions, and stay accountable, with an optional AI Coach. Bounce is a self-control tool for your own device use; it is not a parental-control, medical, or mental-health product.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Bounce. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Bounce. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings; deletion removes your account and synced data from our servers as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Bounce on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law permits it despite this restriction.

4. Subscriptions

Some features require Bounce Pro, an auto-renewing monthly subscription billed through your Apple account.

5. The AI Coach

The Coach generates responses using artificial intelligence. Its replies are suggestions to support your focus habits — they may be inaccurate or incomplete, and they are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Use your own judgment, and seek a qualified professional for health concerns.

6. Optional Google connections

You can optionally connect Google Calendar and Gmail to give the Coach context. These connections are described in the Privacy Policy, use the minimum scopes needed, comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy including its Limited Use requirements, and can be disconnected in the app at any time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Bounce — including attempting to breach its security, interfere with its operation or other users, use it to violate the law, or abuse the Coach to generate harmful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Screen Time permissions

Blocking features depend on Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) system and the permissions you grant on your device. Apple's system — not Bounce — enforces the blocks, and behavior may change with iOS updates. Bounce is a commitment aid, not a guarantee: determined users can remove permissions or the app itself.

9. Changes to the service and these Terms

We may add, change, or remove features over time, and may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Bounce after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Disclaimers

Bounce is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will achieve any particular outcome for your screen-time habits.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flow Technical Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of Bounce. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Apple App Store

These Terms are between you and Flow Technical Solutions only — not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Bounce and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual-property claims). In case of any failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, to the extent one applies; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in an embargoed country and are not on any U.S. government restricted-parties list, and you must comply with applicable third-party agreements (such as your carrier's) when using the app.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Flow Technical Solutions is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the consumer-protection law of your country of residence gives you additional non-waivable rights.
